It's on - I'm aiming for the pinnacle of adventure in 2011. The Trans-Siberian Express. From St Petersburg to Beijing. Me and a cool traveller/friend (Hello Miss D!), vodka, windswept climes, vodka, the throb of the railway, vodka, weird sounds, foreign voices and a life time of stories to love and bore others to death with (after the vodka)!
Now for the trifling issue of how to fund this masterful trek.....
I'll need to lose a few pounds, gain a suitably lust-inducing wardrobe and practice my niceties for conversing with the locals.... How very Dr Zhivago.
